UWindsor is located along the beautiful Detroit River. Surrounded by the Great Lakes, Windsor Ontario is the most southern city in Canada. Because of this great location, we offer a tremendous amount of outdoor activities such as kayaking, trail riding, hiking, and sight-seeing. With Point Pelee, one of Ontario’s most popular Provincial Parks, located just 30 minutes away, it’s a great opportunity to experience all that Ontario has to offer, right in your own backyard.

On-campus, our students have the ability to participate in a large amount of activities. Are you a student athlete? Perhaps a varsity sport is what you’re looking for. Our women’s basketball team as an example is a 5-time CIS Championship team. Or perhaps you’re just interested in recreation. Our campus recreation offers dozens of intramural options in additional to a free membership to the Forge Fitness Facility for all full-time students.

Social Events are also abundant on campus. Whether it’s a field trip to Niagara Falls, English conversation groups or our Celebration of Nations, our International Students Centre (ISC) will have something planned for you to meet new friends and experience life in Canada.
